Additionally we assist our Clients to manage their risks by providing consultancy services, researching and tracking market trends and identifying new markets.  This ensures that all insurance and reinsurance solutions provided are both effective and efficient.

At MIB we appreciate fully the importance of placing business with markets that are both the most competitive and also the most secure.  We review the security standards offered by our markets continually.  If specific, business knowledge is required which is not present within MIB, we have established reciprocal agreements with an extensive network of intermediaries to ensure that our Clients’ needs are always met. Scope and quality of service and a comprehensive range of products are central to MIB’s business practice.  We go to our Clients wherever they may be.

MIB's highly experienced team has particularly detailed knowledge of the Middle East and North Africa region and has long-standing relationships with many insurance and reinsurance companies and other businesses in this territory.   We currently do business in approximately twenty countries.  We are key reinsurance brokers in the energy business in the Gulf and North Africa.  To give just one example, we are the reinsurance brokers for a significant portion of the oil, gas and petrochemical business in Qatar.  Other areas of business where we have had a large part to play include property development in North Africa and banking in the Gulf and North Africa.

Our regional knowledge does not stop there…we also have extensive knowledge of the emerging insurance markets in Eastern Europe; Russia and the Former Soviet Union, Africa, the Asian Sub-Continent and South East Asia.  MIB has provided valuable assistance to a number of major international organisations in respect of their insurance and reinsurance requirements in these regions.  We are now expanding into the wider international scene where we are consolidating our presence.  We are constantly researching and visiting new markets, there is nowhere that is off our map.
