Simon has over twenty five years experience in the international reinsurance market. During his career he has worked with major London Reinsurance brokers where he handled the treaty reinsurance business of clients in the Middle East and Africa. Simon was one of the founding members of Market Insurance Brokers and oversaw our accreditation at Lloyds of London in 2004. He is responsible for the development, negotiation and placement of a comprehensive and varied range of reinsurance solutions for MIB’s clients. Nigel Piers Director - Special Projects

Nigel has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years, initially working as an underwriter dealing with UK domestic business and then as a reinsurance underwriter with a leader in the London Energy Market. Following this he spent ten years working in the Middle East as an underwriter dealing with all classes of insurance. Nigel then returned to the UK to work as a broker in the London Market, dealing primarily with energy, marine, property and casualty risks. He has extensive insurance experience in respect of the Middle East, the Indian Sub-Continent, South East Asia and countries in the Former Soviet Union. Paige Thomson Director - Treaty Reinsurance

Paige has worked in the London Market since 1990 and joined MIB in March 2001 He is experienced in the design and placing of treaty reinsurance programmes and individual facultative placements for a wide range of insurance classes. Paige has been closely involved in business emanating from the Middle East, Africa, Russia and Eastern Europe throughout his career. Trevor Watts Finance Director

Trevor has been in the insurance industry for over 15 years and is an experienced Finance Manager. Having worked with other Lloyds Brokers prior to joining MIB, Trevor has acquired an extensive knowledge of accounting matters related to reinsurance business. Trevor is also responsible for our Information Technology and Human Resources issues and also for ensuring our compliance under the various regulatory bodies that oversee our operations.
